Design crossover from home to office

Meeting with Niklas Korhonen, the CEO of Inno, during Salone del Mobile, was like being elevated into an energetic universe of vision and design passion.

With their latest concept, Cozy Office, Inno presented a number of products developed in order to bring a more relaxed and homelike atmosphere into the office.

Niklas Korhonen explained: “When we decided to bring the more cozy atmosphere, which is typically at found at home, into the office, it was done with the intention of increasing the welfare and wellbeing of people in workspaces. By enhancing the humane aspects, the level of productivity also increases. Over the years, we have seen the number of home offices rocket as work is becoming increasingly mobile. Also this inspired us to transfer the more informal atmosphere into the workspace by means of design. Our crossover products differ from many more mainstream, as they have a focus on individual comfort and ergonomics.”

Korhonen adds: “We aim at designing the unique, and we gather our international jury every year in order to secure that we remain ahead. When we develop design for your customers, we always start from scratch and strive to translate the dna of our customers into our design.”

When scrutinizing the long reference list of Inno, it appears that the company seems to manage quite well. Among others, the long list includes: Microsoft headquarters of France and Microsoft Europe, Issy-les-Moulineaux, France; Google head office Stockholm, and Sweden LinkedIn, Stockholm.

No wonder Niklas Korhonen seemed to have worldly visions when presenting the Inno concepts and approach. That also included the presentation of his business card with the QR code giving access to a virtual reality presentation of the Inno products. Innovative at heart.
