Dress your funiture in the colours of autumn

Danish Forbo launches a new range of colours in linoleum for customizing your favorite furniture

The 50s favorite material is a hit on furniture and kitchens this fall. A record number of Danes want to dress everything from drawers and cabinets to countertops with sustainable linoleum. That's why the leading manufacturer of the requested material, Forbo, this fall launches a number of new colors of furniture linoleum.

Since spring, plenty of architects, designers and consumers have been in touch with Forbo, asking when the new colours of their popular funiture linoleum line will be released. And now they're finally here!

Years ago it was pretty much just business decor where furniture linoleum was used. But the hype around Forbo's Furniture Linoleum has spread to a whole new audience. Now, Forbo is increasingly approached by individuals who want a special exquisite surface, for example for their dining table.

Virtually everything from doors to window frames to furniture, cabinet doors, kitchens and countertops can be covered with Furniture Linoleum. If you are extremely handy, you can probably do it yourself, but Forbo does recommend getting a professional to do the job.

The good news is that the price of getting into such a countertop for a dining table typically is a few thousand kroner. And then you have your very own, customized design. Made from natural ingredients. Most furniture and items may even come to look like they were born with Furniture Linoleum on.

In total there are now 21 colors Furniture Linoleum, of which 10 colors are new. Most of the new colors are pastels, gray or dusty tones.
