Carronade in new nordic disguise

Only six months after the launch, the Carronade lamp from Le Klint is available in new materials and colours

The Carronade lamp series was developed by Le Klint in collaboration with the talented young Swedish designer Markus Johansson is a "100% Made in Denmark" product.

Now, six months after the launch, the series is joined by Carronade Nordic, which will complement the existing range.
Carronade Nordic is made in aluminum with sand-colored paint, aluminum details and a form bent hanger in solid oak. All models come with LED light sources. The collection also comes in the original version in matt black lacquer with brass details and oiled solid American walnut.

The series consists of four lamp types: combination table / wall lamp, spotpendel, multifunctional floor/reading lamp and a floor-high/floor lamp.
It's not hard to see how the designer Markus Johansson has been inspired by the 1700s naval cannons when he drew the lamp series Carronade. But instead of gunpowder and bullets, the ammunition is now modern lighting technology in perfect harmony with a modern, Nordic lamp design.
The lamp series Carronade is designed as a complete lamp series, originally based on the idea of a table lamp, designed as a small cannon with light and where Markus Johansson has worked with a simultaneously playful, challenging and distinctive design.
The high Carronade floor-and floor lamp is nominated for the Design Awards 2016 for this year's best lighting design.
