Music off the wall

Bang & Olufsen is introducing a wireless speaker system that combines superb sound with flexible design

BeoSound Shape is a wall-mounted speaker system consisting of hexagonal modules that can be placed on the wall in endless patterns and variations. That way your personal touch can complete integrate BeoSound Shape and its visual expression to the home's decor.

BeoSound Shape is a wall of intense and evocative sound with unique resonance-controlling properties. Therefore, the system is not only ideal for large multi-purpose rooms of the home, but also a great choice for shops, studios, showrooms, offices and hotel lobbies.

The acoustic indoor climate is essential to our physical and mental wellbeing - like daylight, fresh air and good ergonomics. With its intelligent audio distribution and good resonance-controlling properties, BeoSound Shape is an elegant response to the acoustic challenges that can be encountered indoors, says Marie Kristine Schmidt, Vice President Brand, Design & Marketing.

Unlimited possibilities
BeoSound Shape consists of a combination of speakers, amplifiers and acoustic modules to scale the system's audio and visual expression. Depending on the individual design, BeoSound Shape can consist of anything from six modules to a setup with a virtually unlimited number of modules.

Choose your color
Not only can the setup of BeoSound Shape be tailored completely, the speaker system also offers a wide range of colors and fabrics to choose from. Bang & Olufsen's color palette includes Parisian Night Blue, Purple Heart, Infantry Green, Brazilian Clay, Wild Dove Gray and classic Black.

Thanks to its collaboration with Kvadrat, the renowned Danish manufacturer of design fabrics, Bang & Olufsen offers also a number of exclusive options when it comes to fabrics and colors: Brown city squares, Moss Green city squares, Pink city squares and Dark Blue city squares. Mix and match as you like.

Concert off the wall
The unique Bang & Olufsen upmixing algorithm is designed to create a crisp and accurate sound with vocals in the middle and instruments at the sides. Bang & Olufsen calls it "Band on the wall." The ambition is to create a listening experience where one gets the impression that the band is performing live placed against the wall, so the audience has the opportunity to move freely around the room.

An online design tool from Bang & Olufsen will be made available, so you can mix and match modules and get recommendations for the acoustically optimal placement of the modules.
