Bolia continues its international expansion

On Friday 21 April, the Dutch got an opportunity to buy even more New Scandinavian design, when Bolia opened its second concept store in Amsterdam.

This is part of the Danish design company's current strategy of setting its sights on winning a greater market share in Europe. This new store will bring the total number of Bolia stores to 45, which are also supplemented by a strong, global dealer network and an international e-commerce platform.

Bolia's first store in Amsterdam, Holland was opened in December 2015 with resounding success.

Since then, Bolia has opened stores in The Hague, Utrecht, and is now ready for another beautiful store in Amsterdam. The new store in Amsterdam's city centre is located in Raadhuisstraat 55, an area buzzing with creative charm and vibrant soul.

- There is a great interest in Scandinavian design in Holland, and we are really pleased with the positive reception our first stores in Holland have got. Therefore, we are extra excited about opening a new Bolia flagship store in Amsterdam and presenting our new store concept to our Dutch customers, tells Lars Lyse Hansen, CEO of Bolia International A/S.

The expansion continues
Bolia is currently in an exciting phase, which sees the compoany increasing their expansion rate in both existing and new markets. Looking forward, the design chain will be opening a new Bolia store every two weeks, and the expansion plans include the German market, where they have just opened stores in Hanover and most recently a new flagship store in Berlin.

- June will also be an important month in Bolia's history, where we will be expanding our presence in Switzerland with two new stores in Lausanne and Geneva, and we'll be entering a new market in Belgium, with a fantastic Bolia design shop in the university town of Ghent, shortly followed by a Bolia design shop in Brussels, says Lars Lyse Hansen.

- International expansion is part of our DNA, and we look forward to introducing New Scandinavian design to these commercially strong markets, both in the form of our own stores as well an inspiring e-commerce platform, he concludes.
