Unique candlestick from Råwerk Original

Lightwerk #45 is the first product from this new Swedish brand and is inspired by Nordic design tradition and quality of craftsmanship

Lightwerk #45 is the first product from Råwerk Original - a Swedish design company inspired by the Nordic landscape and quality, as well as the durability of Scandinavian crafts.

The candlestick is handmade with solid copper and iron patinated in hand, making each Lightwerk #45 unique. The organic materials patinate and change further over time, which means that the candle holder is constantly interchangeable. This results in a raw and vibrant expression that contrasts with the Nordic style with clean lines.

Lightwerk #45 also has an integrated drip tray that can be filled with sand, stone or other non-combustible materials, which helps cleaning while providing an additional decorative look. To create a very special light, 238 nails have been struck in the metal plate. The nails simultaneously hold the candles on the plate where one or more lights can be placed.

During the day, the patinated surface is a unique piece of art, but when darkness falls, Lightwerk #45 scatters an amazing light that brings the Nordic twilight into the home and evokes the evening light shining through the branches of the forest.

Lightwerk #45 is a numbered piece, where each light holder has its own unique patina.

Råwerk Original designer and founder, Carl-Johan Ekberg, grew up in Bergslagen, Sweden. The Swedish designer focuses on solid and handmade furniture with soul and uses only Swedish wood and metal from the local area.
