Elegant tables with functional details

Concepts such as "functional living" and "long-term design" are the starting point of a new series of tables, Rod, from Jensenplus. The new products are launched as a series of four different table types, designed in collaboration with Friis & Moltke.

Nordic minimalism appears in the finest way in all its simplicity in the Rod table series, where everything superfluous is removed. Only the straight lines and honest and natural materials appear in the design.

It harmonizes in line with Jensenplus's well-known style, where the furniture production is Danish and material choice is solid, which ensures longevity - also in 10 years. The name Rod originates from the English word "steel rod", which refers to the table series' frame in solid steel.

The first table in the Rod series is the Rod72 dining table, where practical functions are combined with a simple form. The dining table is designed as a meeting place for dining experiences and cozy gatherings, but also for homework and work tasks, where it is easy to go to and from.

Rod72 thus pushes the idea of how a dining table can stand out to be both practical and aesthetic at the same time, appealing to the philosophy of work-life balance.
